About Pushpendra Matharu
Born and raised in the vibrant landscapes of Rajasthan, India, and now residing in Ontario, Canada, I have always been deeply connected to the natural world. My journey as a wildlife photographer and filmmaker began from a profound love for the wilderness and its inhabitants. This passion has driven me to explore the untamed beauty of diverse ecosystems, from the arid deserts of Rajasthan to the lush forests of Ontario, capturing the essence of wildlife in their natural habitats.
As a Sony shooter, I am dedicated to using cutting-edge technology to bring the wonders of nature to life. My work extends beyond photography; I am committed to raising awareness about the fragile balance of our ecosystems and the urgent need to protect them. Through my lens, I strive to bring attention to the threats posed by human activities, such as habitat destruction and pollution, and the importance of preserving these precious environments for future generations.
In my commitment to wildlife conservation, I have recently focused on raising awareness about the dangers posed to birds and other wildlife by discarded fishing lines, highlighting the essential role that responsible outdoor practices play in preserving our natural world.
Through my work, I hope to inspire others to appreciate the natural world and to take action in preserving it. Join me on this journey to explore, protect, and celebrate the incredible wildlife that shares our planet.
